Securad Inc. was founded in 1994 to implement a long term alternative to the surface storage of Canadian spent nuclear fuel from civilian source (nuclear power plant)

Securad Inc. gathers scientists from different backgrounds who have spent a large part of the last ten years developing a concept and finding a practical solution for the safe and sustainable disposal of spent nuclear fuel. This concept is applicable to most civilian depleted uranium fuel, most of which is now stored next to densely populated areas.

Securad is a privately owned Canadian corporation managed by a team of scientists, professional engineers and business people from Canada and other countries

Securad's immediate objective is to provide mankind with a sound environmental solution to an existing environmental problem
